How Do I . . .

Lost in the library? Need to find books and articles, or search the web for reliable information? Find out what the library has to offer.

For Students

Find out how to use library resources, including article databases and the library catalog. Also find tips on subjects such as evaluating websites and get one-on-one help from a librarian.

For Faculty & Instructors

Learn how the ULS can help you in your teaching or research. Set up a library session for your students so they can learn how to efficiently and effectively use library resources.

Tours and Classes

Drop-in library tours will be offered on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. & Wednesdays at 2 p.m. Meet at the Reference Desk on the ground floor of Hillman Library.

If you would like individualized help, please contact Robin Kear at rlk25@pitt.edu to arrange an appointment at your convenience. Your research needs will shape the session.
