Only a few stories, but he gave us The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella,Red Riding Hood, Bluebeardand Puss-in-Boots. Here you see Mother Goose, Ma Mere l'Oye, telling the tales. Monsieur Perrault was a scholar, a member of the Academie Francaise and assistant superintendent of public works under Louis XIV, but all of that is forgotten. He is remembered for The Tales of Mother Goose.
